Instream On A Mission

Instream, a national provider of secure online dental exchange services, kicked off the month of October by getting into the giving spirit. On October 1st, eight instream employees spent their Saturday morning donating their time to the Ottawa Mission.

The activity kicked off with an in-depth presentation from Claudia, Ottawa Mission volunteer coordinator, who taught the group about the various programs that the Mission offers to tackle the intricate nuances of homelessness in Ottawa. The employees reported being impressed by the wide reaching scope of the Mission and proud to be contributing to such an important cause.

Volunteers got into the giving spirit by:

• Collecting and donating toiletries (toothbrushes, razors, deodorant ) to the Ottawa Mission
• Making 150 sandwiches to help feed low income workers and hungry clients of the Mission outside of scheduled meal hours
• Preparing condiment cups of peanut butter and jam to spruce up the toast at breakfast time
